Focusing on the FUN in FUNctional Fitness and group training is what CrossFit Osage! Each class is instructor led from start to finish with teaching and cueing throughout warm-ups, skills training, workout of the day time, our high-intensity portion, and a cool down. Our staff is adept at tailoring options appropriate for each individual and providing an optimal stimulus to help you reach your goals.

Coaches will instinctively push you to be your very best. Having fun while we train is a key ingredient so expect plenty of smiles, laughs, and high-fives along the way! Whether you are a beginner or an advanced athlete, this class is for you! 


CrossFit is now included in your YMCA membership! Starting Jan 1, 2023, there will be no additional cost to join our enthusiastic CrossFit group.

Never tried CrossFit but want to join? Take four consecutive Fundamentals of CrossFit classes and pass before you can join the group to ensure you are best prepared for CrossFit classes.

FUNDAMENTALS OF CROSSFIT

 

Ever considered CrossFit but said to yourself “yeah right. I can’t do that”? Sure you can! Grab a friend, or two, and join us for a monthly, 4-week course that will provide basic instruction surrounding the 9 functional movements of CrossFit along with a short CrossFit style workout. Upon completion, you will be ready to graduate into our CrossFit classes! #StrongerThanYesterday

Cost: $30/Member and $45/Non-member
Class Time and Date: Wednesday at 5:00am, 8:30am & 5:15pm
Registration: Each month will start a new 4-week program with registration starting the prior month.

Meet Ashley Reed, CF-OL1

Hi everyone! My name is Ashley Reed and I am currently the Coordinator for CrossFit Osage. I started my workout journey in May of 2019 dipping my toes in the CrossFit world. At that point in my life I was the heaviest I had ever been and I was not anywhere close to being a CrossFit athlete, but I joined anyway. Since that day I have never looked back as this lifestyle has changed me for the best which led me into the coaching world. I have been a coach at CrossFit Osage for almost a year now and I am looking to advance those skills in the very near future to provide you all with the best instruction! Outside of the gym I work full-time and spend time with my family. I hope to see you join our CrossFit family in the near future!

Meet Luke Clark, CF-OL1!

Hi my name is Luke Clark. I am a CrossFit instructor here at the YMCA. I have been involved with CrossFit for a little over a year but I have been an athlete for more like 25+ years. I am also a P.E. teacher and coach (Football and Track) at the Nevada Middle School and have been there for the last 14 years. I believe health and exercise are very important and enjoy working with people on improving their overall fitness.

Hi! I’m Carli and I’m a transplant from New Mexico (hello Cottey!) I’ve been married to my favorite person for nearly a decade and we have 2 wonderful kiddos. I’m a Stay at Home Mom, crocheter, hand-embroiderer, crystal-wrapping, veggie-fermenting, certified Jesus Freak (no seriously. CERTIFIED) who found myself joining CrossFit after needing to shorten my workouts from multiple hours down to one…hello parenting! I’m passionate about helping people break through barriers and begin to see just how amazing they really are, in and out of the gym. I’m looking forward to spending time getting to know you and helping you see the amazingness in you!
