2023 MO/KS LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE: CREATING CONNECTIONS

Every day, YMCA leaders empower young people, improve health and well-being, and inspire action in communities. Recharge, refuel and renew your commitment to our cause at the Missouri and Kansas Leadership Conference for two days of professional engagement, peer networking, and learning. Connect with a network of peers in your specific program area. Learn together about best practices, foster innovation, learn new skills and develop as a leader in this one-of-a-kind professional development opportunity.

DATES: April 26-28, 2023

LOCATION: Springfield, Missouri at the University Plaza Hotel & Convention Center.

HOTEL: Click here to reserve your room at University Plaza Hotel. Room rate is $119 per night, plus any applicable taxes or fees. Deadline is March 26 to reserve at the group rate.

CONFERENCE FEE: $199 per person

REGISTRATION: Click here to register and make payment. You can use a credit card to make payment during registration or receive an invoice to make payment by check. 

VENDOR REGISTRATION: Click here to register as a vendor. All representatives with each vendor attending the conference should register using this form. Only one vendor representative needs to select sponsorship level and is able to make payment via credit card or receive an invoice to make payment later.

1:00 - Tour of Wonders of Wildlife National Museum and Aquarium (approximately $35, paid on-site)
1:00 - YMCA Leader Level Certification Roll-Up Training ($30, added to registration fee)
6:00 - Informal social and fun

Thursday, April 27

11:00 - Lunch
11:45 - Opening Session
12:15 - Peer Communities, Workshops, and Networking
4:30 - General Session with Suzanne McCormick, Y-USA President and CEO
5:30 - Reception and Networking
6:30 - Dinner on your own
8:30 - Games, Activities, and Fellowship at the Hotel!

Friday, April 28
8:30 - Morning Kickoff with coffee and networking
9:00 - General Session
10:00 - Brunch and Peer Community Conversations
11:00 - Closing Session
11:30 - Conference Adjourns
