ABOUT DiSC
The DiSC Model and Workstyle Assessment is a simple yet powerful model that describes four basic behavioral styles: D, i, S, and C. Everyone is a blend of all four DiSC styles—usually, one, two, or even three styles stand out. Each person has a unique behavioral profile with different styles and priorities—no one style is better or worse than the next. Once you assess these differences and harness their value, better workplace communication AND healthier organizations become possible.
By understanding our own style, we can also take a look at how we can better work together with our colleagues. Group discussion through this lens will create interesting dialogue about our work at the Y, and new ways of using each other’s talents and strengths, and even new strategies for brainstorming and conducting meetings together.
ABOUT THE FACILITATOR

Prior to this role, Maribeth served the Y movement spanning 13 years as the Executive Director of Leadership Development, a director of YUSA’s Training Partner Y program, and various Gateway Region roles in marketing, volunteerism and fundraising.
