The game of volleyball has come a long way since its origin when YMCA instructor William Morgan invented it in 1895. Today, the OPY Volleyball Club proudly accepts the responsibility to carry on this YMCA tradition for our area's next generation of volleyball players.

Our program helps competitors develop their skills under the direction of our highly qualified coaching staff, which has extensive experience coaching at the middle school, high school and club levels.

The OPY Volleyball Club welcomes any interested volleyball player to come tryout for one of our tournament teams. To do so, we ask that you first register for an HOA Junior Tryout Membership in addition to registering for the tryout event itself, scheduled for July 9 & 10.

The OPY Volleyball Club is committed to offering the best competitive youth volleyball experience at the most affordable cost in our area. Our experienced and certified coaching staff have the best equipment available to offer the highest level of instruction. The Osage Prairie YMCA will be the home of the OPY Volleyball Club, offering two regulation volleyball courts to conveniently host all practices and home tournaments.

For more information, contact Brian Doussa, Associate Director of Sports and Recreation at 417-667-9622 and join the club Facebook group.
